In September, world market sugar prices were far from stable. The ISA Daily Price started the month at USD25.48 cents/lb and reached a fresh 12-year high of USD27.14 cents/lb on September 20^th, before reducing to USD25.76 cents/lb on September 26^th. The monthly average was USD26.31 cents/lb, a considerable 9.9% increase from the previous month.
